On Friday July 28th, 2023, metal fans will have the chance to see two of the biggest bands in the genre perform live at The Pavilion at Star Lake. Pantera and Lamb of God will be bringing their unique brand of metal to the stage, and fans can expect an unforgettable night of music.
Pantera formed in 1981 and quickly became one of the most influential metal bands of all time. They released a string of classic albums in the 1990s, including ‘Vulgar Display of Power’ and ‘Far Beyond Driven’, which cemented their place as one of the biggest bands in the world. They disbanded in 2003, but reformed in 2009 and have been touring ever since.
Lamb of God formed in 1994 and have become one of the most successful metal bands of the 21st century. They have released eight studio albums, including the Grammy-nominated ‘As the Palaces Burn’, and have toured the world multiple times. They are widely considered to be one of the best live bands in the genre, and fans can expect a blistering performance from them on July 28th.
