Ghost & Amon Amarth
Amon Amarth and Ghost will be performing at The Pavilion at Star Lake on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023. This will be an epic show that you won’t want to miss!
Amon Amarth is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Tumba, formed in 1992. The band takes its name from the Sindarin name of Mount Doom, a volcano in J. R. R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth. Their lyrics mostly deal with Viking culture and mythology.
Ghost is a Swedish heavy metal band that was formed in Linköping in 2008. In 2010, they released a 3-track demo followed by a 7″ vinyl titled “Elizabeth”, and later their debut full-length album Opus Eponymous. The band’s highly visual stage shows feature the use of theatrics, costumes and props, and they have been compared to artists such as Alice Cooper, Kiss and Marilyn Manson.
