I don’t think I’ve ever been to a show where I had so much fun. Everyone was dancing and the music was great. The Pavilion at Star Lake is a great venue for a show like this. The sound was perfect and the light show was incredible. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better light show at a concert.
The setlist was fantastic. They started the show with “Bertha” and ended with “Ripple.” In between, they played all of my favorite Dead songs. “Sugaree,” “Cassidy,” “Althea,” “Eyes of the World,” “China Cat Sunflower,” and “I Know You Rider” were all highlights for me.
I was really impressed with the band’s energy. They sounded like they were having as much fun as the crowd. Bob Weir, in particular, seemed to be having a great time. He was smiling and joking with the other members of the band.
I’m already looking forward to their next show. If you’re a fan of the Grateful Dead, I highly recommend seeing Dead & Company. They’re a great band and they put on an amazing show.
