Matchbox Twenty is an American rock band that was formed in Orlando, Florida, in 1995. The group currently consists of Rob Thomas (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards), Brian Yale (bass guitar), Paul Doucette (drums, rhythm guitar, backing vocals), and Kyle Cook (lead guitar, backing vocals).

The band has released five studio albums: Yourself or Someone Like You (1996), Mad Season (2000), More Than You Think You Are (2002), North (2012), and Exile on Mainstream (2007). They have also released a live album, Show: A Night in the Life of Matchbox Twenty (2009), and a greatest hits album, Exile on Mainstream: The Essential Matchbox Twenty (2010).

The band’s first album, Yourself or Someone Like You, was released in 1996 and was certified diamond by the RIAA. The album features the singles “Real World”, “3 A.M.”, “Push”, and “Back 2 Good”. The album was certified 12x platinum in the US and has sold over 15 million copies worldwide.
