Matchbox Twenty & The Wallflowers
Matchbox Twenty together with The Wallflowers will hit the KeyBank Pavilion on August 26,Wednesday. Formed in 1996 at Orlando,Florida, this band’s members are Rob Thomas, Brian Yale, Paul Doucette and Kyle Cook. They are also know as MB20 and they have been recognized by the international rock scene through their first album entitled Yourself or Someone Like You which was released a year after they formed the band. This album became platinum, 12 times and has been acknowledged as a platinum record in various countries as well like Canada and Australia. They have been nominated in several music award giving bodies like the Grammy’s, American Music Awards and even MTV Video Awards. Some of their most famous hits include Unwell and Push.
The Wallflowers are formed back in the late 80s at Los Angeles, California through the efforts of singer and songwriter, Jakob Dylan and Tobi Miller, the guitarist. They released their very first album back in 1992 and it’s called Bringing Down the Horse. This is considered their top selling album to date. Some of the songs included in this album are 6th Avenue Heartache and One Headlight. The band even won the Grammy Awards back in 1998 with the song One Headlight.
